aside, at least until upstream is confident enough to set it as the
default. Instead lets troubleshoot the bug with the laptop to see if
there's some other solution.

I had attempted loading unity with fglrx last month but also failed to
get it going. No idea why it isn't working though... I'd assumed at the
time it was a unity bug since I could get classic+compiz running. But I

For some time I have a keyboard issue at boot. It is relatively close to what
I've read here.
I think this issue appeared after a Lucid Lynx kernel upgrade. Before, it
worked fine.
Till GDM is displayed, the keyboard works well (usb Dell keyboard). I can enter
my login and password.
X11 starts

Looks more like a support request than a bug report. There are no log
files or configuration files and no information about the hardware
configuration.
I don't see any indication in the report that you're using fglrx. But
the symptom looks somewhat familiar. It usually happens when you're
using a
@sanmiguel did you ever find a fix for your problem? I've been getting
the same one and can't find anything that helps. I did discover that it
goes away when I turn my second screen to a super low resolution so I'm
betting it's got the same root as this bug.
