x86_64, but in testing oS 11.3 RC1, I found that the nVidia driver (265)

What I needed to do was:
cd /usr/include
mv linux linux_SAVE
mv asm asm_SAVE

update on this bug : I had to have my screen replaced by Dell because my screen
never got back to normal...
I'm now using Ubuntu 10.04, and everytime the screen is running out of power
the screen colors change to red only or green only. It gets back to normal
after rebooting. really scrary.

The only thing wrong (as far as I remember, because I fixed the issue
for myself locally) is that the slash-backslash bug is related not only
to the bel latin layout, but rather to the basic template for the

@Simos: I agree that you do see the subscript with the current version
of Lucid so the issue in comment #2 seems to have been resolved. I also
agree that the area in the panel is limited. This is still a valid
usability issue though, especially for users who use several keyboard
layouts on a regula
I thought I would have to get a patched kernel image built for you to
test this, but v4 of the patch is now commited and has found its way to
the latest daily ubuntu mainline build already [1] (see [2] for more
information about the mainline builds). It will also be included when
2.6.35-rc4 is rele
