The fault appeared again. I ssh'd into the box and stopped the X server

Just ran a software update on lucid, now I get no 3D acceleration with
my Radeon HD3300 (worked fine before). I see the follwoing in the xorg
log:

The problem seems to be resolved (for me) simply by downgrading the
kernel, at least 2.6.31-22 (from karmic repos) works properly even with
the external monitor. I still use the x-retro driver, maybe it would
work with the official driver too.

Is there any reason this bug is still marked as Incomplete? I have submitted

experiencing the same lack of dual monitor support with various ATI
I can confirm that I was hit by this bug, and Mackenzie's patch works
perfectly for me. I have a projector screen to the left of my computer.
Neither would be easily moved, so pretending my projector screen was to
RightOf the main desktop was very annoying. Thank you.

Mouse movement corrupte
This problem I encountered when I upgraded from Karmic to Lucid.
As the upgrade was hosed, I tried installing from fresh, rather than
using the upgrade, but it too had the same problem, so I had to
reinstall Karmic from scratch.

the issue seems a compiz one, Savatt get it on intel as well by running
the compiz-decorator after selecting no effect in the gnome-appearance-
capplet, it seems that stopping compiz should stop the decorator as well

activated: if I use gstreamer's xvimagesink output (XV), the video is
only refreshed when the window moves or is resized. I get this problem
