Hi, in fact, the Multitouch feature works perfect in the MacBook Pro 5.3,
the only problem than I saw is that the applications don't have support for

It works fine for me on a MacBook 4,1 and I didn't need any further
patches. But I am running Karmic with only the kernel updated to
2.6.32-19-generic from the kernel-ppa and xorg still from karmic. Thanks
for fixing this.

Appears to be a modesetting issue, this is now being handled by the
kernel so reassigning to linux.
As a workaround, you could try disabling KMS - boot with
radeon.modeset=0, which should restore karmic-level functionality by
using the old X user modesetting stuff.

Make sure you also fully purge -fglrx - see
