The addition of the Amazon search feature for me raises one particular
question that I hope can be addressed. I have been an avid supporter of
Ubuntu, passing out discs and evangelizing the operating system whenever I

I suspect the intent here, when the decision was made to omit the opt-in
setup, was to simplify the user setup experience. For most people, most of

soon. We have real enemies to fight, and fighting against Canonical (or
ensuring it never reaches profitability) will not fix bug #1.
