Amateur Radio rallies are arranged throughout the uk, often advertised as Radio

An Edirol USB audio interface with the advanced driver switch set to off,
solved the problem, still dont know why the mic socket dont work, but doesnt
matter now.

Have not knowingly reset anything, the root password request follows when I
select route shell, followed by enter. I dont have any files currently on the
Ubuntu machine, so a reload is not a problem. Why the machine rejected my
username and password may well remain an unsolved mystery. It does a
whsmith.co.uk, site shows as WH Smith, if Google doesnt find it, try Dogpile.
The book is still being offered at the same price, including postage, hope you
find it ok.

I did the same, bought a replacement before finding out about Goodies, thought
the repair cost was very reasonable, always good to have a spare monitor
around. Repair items must be properly packed, if you dont have the original
monitor packaging, Goodies will advise. They are used by several mon
9.04 detected and enabled my HP1440 printer automatically.
My Lexmark Z34 was not detected, after adding it, a print request just returned
blank pages.
Any suggestions please, (apart from "use the HP one") ?
