I have an xbox which ive connected to my media centre (in another room).
How can i set up file sharing on this. Ive tried the sharing file option in
the menu but for some reason it cannot be saved. i click on "share" and then
ok...but when i go back in it will have disappeared!

Yes its the older xbox..it has been hardmodded and it does indeed run
xbmc...sorry but i dont know which version its using...but i got my xbox

location of the file.
For example right clicking and properties on my media tells me:
/media/sdb1/Pictures
yet when i put this in my myth location finding thingy nothing comes up!

Im trying to set a few files in a shared area. i have samba installed.
Whenever i click on "share" and then ok. nothing happens. I reopen the samba
window and " do not share" windows stays.
Whats wrong and how can i fix it?

Im using Kino for editing some vob files. After i edit the files remain DV
files. How can i these converted to vob files?
Someone mentioned that Kino automatically converts it back to vob after
exporting the files (and that DID work) the first time but no
i havent tried save as..but i have tried export but it appears to only
output the file in DV format. it did manage however, to output in vob the
first time i used it!

I have posted this problem, to which i found an answer. But the problem has
come back.
Ok basically whenever i click shared folders and add a file in it. when i go
back and check the added folder isnt there leaving the box unpopulated.

I just installed Miro...but everytime i open it..it opens for a few seconds,
loads and then closes again!!
