Yup, I have that installed by default, as you say. I was wrong about the envelope icon in the Menu Bar not turning blue: I just saw it do so. I have an impression it reverts to white after a short interval, even if the email is not read. But anyway, it's only the horizontal bar across the launc

Thanks for reply Barry, as soon as it was available I made three different attempts to get the 13.04 ISO on to my pendrive and have failed so far - regret I did not document these.  It was an option I was keen to persue, but time is a challenge at present so I will recheck  methods and try again
