Hi all,
virgin have recently upgraded me to superhub so i now have a wireless
router surplus to needs.
I was thinking of connecting the surplus wifi router wireless to my hub and
then connect to a xbox 360.
I saw some tutorial in win7 to create a bridge but id rather run it in
ubuntu.

I assume you mean you want to connect the two routers together wirelessly

I have a router upstairs ok..i have a spare router which i want to connect
to the 360,..and then use that router to connect to net?

can i then, connect my laptop to a 360 with an ethernet cable to use its
connection? Im assuming some sort of "share internet" option is available
in Ubuntu?

point/router I'd disable the one in the SuperHub because it's utter
garbage. Set the SuperHub to "Modem Only" mo

I've recently upgraded my home server and moved to 12.04, but I'm having
an issue with NFSv4, in that it's running really slowly, sub 1MB/sec
transfer rate...
The old server (a little Viglen with an external USB hard drive)
averaged 2.9MB/sec, which while a little slow I could live wi
My immediate response would be to check the speed of the USB drive against
a share on the internal disk (assuming you still have the USB drive
attached). Also make sure that DNS is resolving correctly and that the Eee
knows about the client end. Also check the speed of your network interfaces.

(Wired/Wireless N/G), what is the drive you're writing too, how fast does
it copy internally? What is the exports line?
