I've raised bug 982954 about the intermittent failure to show the launcher,
even when the sensitivity is set to high. I'm using Unity 3D though.

Hi all,
I have just _upgraded_ (ie. not clean install) from 11.10 to 12.04 on my
dual-boot Lenovo E420s (Ubuntu 12.04 / Windows 7) using the distribution
upgrade button in the update manager.
I had problems at first, as the remnants of Gnome Shell gave me all sorts
of headaches. So, I removed al

Can anyone point me to a relatively cheap and economical wireless inkjet
printer (would be nice to have a scanner but not essential) that works
OK with 12.04?

I am not clued up on the make and model which will work well for
12.04, but in terms of relative cheapness have you tried your local
freecycle group (http://uk.freecycle.org/). Printers usually show up
there pretty often.

I am not sure about an inkjet but the hp laser printers have very good
drivers. I would start with hp. Having said that the old Epson (inkjet)
also works well with ubuntu. Try to find a printer that has the linux logo.
Hope this helped

work with Linux. Failing that can't you return the printer if it fails to
work? In UK you can I believe...
