I see that in Ubuntu 12.04 beta 1 updated (3D) it is possible to drag
windows between workspaces as favourite Dad tried to do. It also has a
method of changing size of launcher icons.

My laptop is blessed with a HDMI output which probably works with Windows
(its a windows machine.).
How can I utilize this in Ubuntu? Ideally I would like to just connect to
my 42" and watch the video or browse some pictures!

I connected it to my TV and got a no signal message. Thats about all i
