Hi
Maybe just try running the following in shell/konsole in no particular
order. (Make sure you have synaptic closed)
sudo apt-get clean
sudo apt-get update
sudo app-get remove virtualbox
... and see if that helps clean it up...

i need help...i was trying to install virtualbox but didnt know what i was

..in the end i couldnt install it. Now when i open synaptic..i get this
