I have installed the .deb for Openshot in Ubuntu 9.04 and it worked okay
without messing anything else up. So the .deb seems to be safe even if
the PPA is not. Although I have not tried it in Ubuntu 9.10 yet (I have
installed it as a virtual machine in VirtualBox for testing purposes
before I c
I fell into this trap with Openshot, the PPA messes all kinds of stuff
up, I can't remember how I fixed it, but it did involve uninstalling
OpenShot. I remember tryig to play the Original Godzilla when it
happened. I was sad :(
I don't think the .deb messes with the shizzle, but I wouldn't try it.
