Try this Right click on the volume control icon (top right) and select 'Open volume control' Click on Preferences. Is 'Capture' ticked? If not, tick it. Go to the 'Recording' tab. Make sure the volume is turned up on Capture and microphone symbol does not have an 'x' on it (click it to remove
