Unfortunately his desktop is nvidia based, so would help much, but am
encouraged to here they are made by the same manufacturer of System76
laptops which have pretty good reputation.

I used calibre to convert a series of pdf's (funnily enough for an ou course)
into the more native format for my kindle as I found reading the pdf to much of
