Hi everyone
I am experiencing an issue where Ubuntu 12.04 suddenly boots into a blank
screen. Virtual console is fine so I am guessing it is an update issue. The
computer is not frozen, as inputting the right password gets me access to
the system(hdd activity visible). Any help would be appreciated
I have got an encrypted partition on my hdd, used alternative cd (encrypted
lvm volume) of ubuntu 12.04. I am trying to back up the entire installation
(i. E. Entire harddrive), would dd work if booted from a live cd?
Thanks

I would wait. N7 is a great device, but there may be price drops for Xmas.
There is also talk of a 64 gb version early next year (January)at the price
point of the 3g 32 gb version (230£?), although that's still a rumour and
not confirmed.

As far as I am aware there is also system76 that sell laptops with Linux

Hi All,
I hope you would be able to help me with the following problem that I am

Hi Adam,
I have used an android smartphone as a wifi hotspot with no problems with
ubuntu (from 10.04). Most dongles should work with it anyway. From my very

and everything worked without any unnecessary configurations. are you using
a cd to install 12.04 from? I know the image is 701mb which technically
doesnt fit on a cd but imgburn seemed happy
