Have you tried:-
All Settings > Appearance > Behaviour
And changed the menu's setting to appear in the window's title bar
There is a known issue with the Audacity package in 15.10 in that it was
built against the wrong version of wxWidgets so this may be related. The
Audacity devs advise using their PPA and release.
