I thought I would try an upgrade in place when the new distribution prompt
came up and it gets through to setting up the software channels then fails
because ubuntu-minimal has ceased to exist...

On my netbook, I use 10.10, the last version to run before Unity was
introduced. Call me a stick-in-the-mud, but I liked Gnome desktop.
If I was to go for a wipe and reload in the next coupla days, how easy is it to
ditch Unity and switch back to Gnome desktop blinged up with CCSM??
