That's also my understanding too. Mint 10 is, as far as I'm aware, based on Ubuntu 10.10 as the Mint team always release a new Mint approximately one month after a new Ubuntu is released. Maybe the mix up is that there is one version of Mint that is based on Debian with a rolling release...?

Matt, Just for your peace of mind... I also have a Mint (9) installation - I use it only for Wine so as not to 'pollute' my Ubuntu set up. I can guarantee that up to Mint 9 it is in fact Ubuntu based. Mint 9 proudly boasts itself the fact that it is built on Ubuntu 10.04 LTS. I do not know anyth

Hi, I had my disk drop out last Sunday (well I thought it was my disk) replaced it, rebuilt the software raid and this morning it dropped out again. Is it actually the HDD or my SATA controller since it seems strange for a new disk to go so quickly with the same problem. Syslog at http://file
