Not only are they not supplying non-Windows machines, they say that
replacing with another OS will invalidate the hardware guarantee.
"Dell bought by PC World" - must have missed that press item! :)
My LiveCD works perfectly on my sons new Dell though.

Under Alsamixer these was an column marked "s/pdif 1". It was marked MM for
mute, I unmuted it with "m".

I installed 10.04 on my revo and I too struggled to get any sound via
HDMI which refused stubbornly to work despite my best efforts. Finally

In sound preferences I've got output set to HDMI out, but still no luck.
I wonder how Google TV will fit into all of this...Maybe you dont need a
Revo or dell in there now!!
