Hi folks,
Well the time has come where my mum and step-dad have decided to get on
t'internet so they're looking for a laptop. They were planning on
getting me to go with them to PC World to help choose one, but I've
convinced them to hang fire for a week so I can look into what is out there.
Indeed, Not to sure how much I would be able to help as starting my new job
on 29th March. So would only be able to give help during the evening.

Hi,
If you want to try out your newly developed python skills you might
like to join the Ubuntu-uk pyweek team. I sent an email about it
recently. I'll be doi

No worries. "Clock" should be right near the top - there's a section
with 2 entries, then a line, then Clock is the 3rd in the next
ll try again...although i did try it before but couldnt see the clock and

I have been using Ubuntu One for a short while, and use it to upload
files for backup purposes, just a few files so far.
But today, when trying to backup a new version of a file, I noticed that
although I can copy files to my Ubuntu One folder in Nautilus, there is
no Ubuntu One icon any more i
