I have tried all sorts, including the suggestions in the parallel thread. I have been able to save an xorg.config file with the correct settings and yet Ubuntu still boots up in 800x600 resolution. Strangley enough, however, as it is booting with the chocolate screen the resolution is correct.

Hello guys, On my net book last week I connected a pair of vuzix glasses to see if view worked out of box with ubuntu. They worked fine, however when I unplugged them I lost my main screen so restarted the net book. And got a x error saying no screen so I reconfigured my conf file, to no avail.
