I've registered too, but looking at the stats it looks a bit outdated,
according to the website there are still 13368 machines running

Also I found creating mp4 files for the iPod could be a pain at times.
I found this script on the internet (might have been the Ubuntu
Forums...not sure) to batch convert any video ffmpeg can understand to
iPod compatabile mp4's:

I have seen several references to registered ubuntu user e.g # but
how do i register as a ubuntu user, adn get such a number, I have
registered with the Linux counter (about 8 years ago + at least)

Once we have a better grasp of where to do this and such we can throw up

What about getting a room from the Union. They normally have rooms
available. That is as long as we don't hit post exam celebration period.
