Does the change persist across re-boots? man hostname/dnsdomainname says
"When called with one argument or with the --file option, the commands
set the host name or the NIS/YP domain name. Note th

Interesting Rob - I've recently set up Ebox on Ubuntu for one of my
boss's businesses.and found it
