Hey, after installing the earcandy package, I got no sound from banshee, so I decided to uninstall earcandy, but still no sound from Banshee, even after a restart. I can't really use any other media player, as Rythmbox crashes when I adjust the volume, and Amarok doesn't work with my multimedia

Do you want to stop it getting a virus, or do you want it to protect other computers from windows viruses? ClamAV can be used to plug in to a proxy server or email server running on Ubuntu to strip out the viruses as they go past. Viruses themselves tend not to run on anything but Windows -
