I stand corrected...
That presumably means that I could write my own dynamic dns script -
would just be a case of sending instructions to an external server to
update the zone for whatever the domain is I want to be hosted
locally?

I had this camera, it worked perfectly out the box with me using

DynDNS does not forward anyu traffic. It just provides a DNS ser
