Hi Guys, I picked up an eee 901 last Monday. I charged it and
immediately installed Ubuntu and adamm's kernel from array.org.
Everything works brilliant! However, I appear to be having an issue
with the sensor from the lid. it appears to think that it opens and
closes randomly. see an image here

Further to my previous posts on this subject I have now installed Ubuntu eee on
my Acer and it seems to have gone completely without hitch. I got online
immediately and networked with my other machines with a single mouse click.
Despite the disparaging remarks about the Acer Aspire made by Coli
I mistakenly allowed nm-editor automatic access to the gnome keyring. I
can't find out how to edit the keyring settings to revoke that decision.
I'm using Hardy, so the gui is seahorse, and there's no obvious way of
changing program access permissions.
Any suggestions?
