Hi Fredy, Some people do find that the 'live cd' install does have problems with certain hardware. In these cases it is recommended to use the 'alternate' cd. For version 6.06 this can be downloaded from: http://ubuntu-releases.datahop.it/6.06/ubuntu-6.06.1-alternate-i386.iso Kind Regards, Davi
