Instead of being negative, how about we individually write to BBC (Radio 4)
and compliment them on their show! I'm sure it would massage some egos and
at the same time we could give them some fresh ideas bout their next
program...even offering to help out.

Sorry to change the subject- I have Ubuntu 6,10 installed. Open Office
crashes if I try to copy or cut and paste into an email. I have re-installed
Open Office, but it is still happening.
Does that mean that the re-installation did not work or is there another
problem somewhere else?

That is fantastic!
BBC parliament isn't there yet, I hope you can add it in the future.
Doughty street is there though :D
Congratulations on a truly incredible program.

I just downloaded your SteekyTV and it seems to be working well. Nice
little program. I am just watching the news from Fox8 in Florida :-)
I can't wait till all TV is streamed on the net.
Thanks

What plug in is FireFox using?
Try the mplayer plug in for FireFox, it can handle real media OK.

I recently wrote a program called SteekyTV for Linux.
I'm not sure if it has BBC Parlaiment working yet but
it's something I will check into. There are a few BBC
video feeds in there and it's all updated server side.
The program is in the very early stages of devlopment
but seems to work on Edgy.

Does anyone know how to get the BBC parliament streams working in Edgy?
It seems I can watch all of the recorded video, but I can't access the
live feeds.
I can't access any of the realplayer video either, just the WMV.
Has anyone had any luck? I've got all of the win32 codecs.

take a long while to update the headers. I thought it was playing up

Alan Cox, developer of the Linux Kernel, has filed a patent
application seeking to obtain ownership of DRM, and all the
technologies surrounding it. Taken from the patent abstract, Cox
asserts the origins of DRM and outlines the practice in detail:

I have stopped bothering to watch Click, it is simply not relevant to
Linux or open source at all.
