Have you started the process ? Would it be possible to get several members
of the team to shadow you in the process to learn how to do it ? Or could
you record some kind of screencast using Google Hangouts ?

In my opinion this type of announcement is important and must be schedule
somehow, so everyone would be able to know the dates of the translation
updates and manage the time for fixes .
