No misunderstanding Matt, but looking at things now, looks like
translators are doing the reviewers. And am not saying it is wrong,

Hi,
When I submit the .po file to Brazilian Portuguese translation, his
status is changed to "Blocked" and the translations aren't imported.
https://translations.launchpad.net/ubuntu/karmic/+source/kdelibs/+imports
This also happens with kcmshell package.

Hi to all
When I need to find or correct a string, I download the language pack
at:
https://translations.edge.launchpad.net/ubuntu/karmic/+language-packs
After that, I uncompress the package, and search the desired string with
the command:
find . -type f | xargs grep 'the_string_you_want'

The latests Karmic updates renders my desktop almost untranslated - e.g.
the GNOME main menu, many of its entries, and many important
applications like Gnome Terminal or The GIMP shows untranslated in my
Spanish desktop.
Looking deeper, I just realized that there're many missing .mo files

oh, you're right.
I remembered it being in deb-inst, but it's indeed in ubiquity-debconf

Hi, Mike. Sorry, but I'm unable to locate these strings in the
debian-installer template:
https://translations.edge.launchpad.net/ubuntu/karmic/+source/debi
that's in debian-installer. Download the po file, and there'll you find it

Hi!
Recently some users made me aware that we slipped through some wrong
translations in the basque translation of inkscape.
Aparently, when the translations where open, a user uploaded a lot of
spanish sentences in the basque translation.
As an example:
https://translations.edge.launchpad.net/ub
Whoops, forgot to copy the translators in - please reply to this email
rather than my previous one. Apologies!
