Onboard doesn't really work as a touchscreen keyboard, though. It should
pop up automatically when you touch a text field, and disappear
automatically when the focus goes elsewhere.

A quick note on the thumb keyboard. It's an awesome idea, but on a
widescreen (16:9/16:10) tablet, the keyboard is workable in portrait
orientation. The thumb keyboard is much more useful on the iPad, which uses
a 4:3 screen ratio, and has a much wider portrait keyboard.

I should point out that I've got Android installed on a few laptops, and
while it is far from a complete experience, it isn't bad, and the stellar
Gmail and such apps are very nice even on a full out laptop.
I think the big new feature Ubuntu will have that other devices won't is
Ubuntu One. There
I hate to shamelessly plug, but did you get a chance to see my Unity Mobile
mockups a while back? I'm sure there far from perfect, but they are a step
in the right direction.
