We discovered a problem with mythtv compiling against mysql 5.7.
It boils down to mysql expects that if you #include that
you have the mysql installation's include path included at compile time
to get the rest of the headers. This is presumptuous as it worked fine
for 5.5 and 5.6 previously with
Another suggestion to solve the header mess is to patch anywhere that
header files are looking for global reference to patch to local
reference "mysql/..."
Not sure if that would cause more harm though.

I've merged in Anders' patch, it will be in the next DKMS release.
We'll also be seeing support for "dh --with-dkms" for dh7 packages from
a few commits from Debian in that release. Packages will be free to use
either way to support DKMS.

Public bug reported:
Avahi has support to advertise to a network different running services.
Currently openssh doesn't advertise itself dynamically or statically
when installed.
It can be done statically by copying the example file from
/usr/share/doc/avahi-daemon/examples to /etc/avahi/services
Here's a related bug in F11:

Hi Colin:
I've made the following changes, can you please review again:
* Don't treat firmware disks as a separate case anymore
* Pull the safe lsb-release reading code from localechooser in
* Update name to be ubuntu-drivers/ instead of ubuntu/ per recommendation
* Figure out the distribution
Ideally, would like to see these in 8.04.3 too for servers this year,
but if that's not feasible, please re-target for 8.04.4.
