Actually, this is an Upstart issue, which I can confirm as of Upstart
0.6.5-4.
/etc/init.d/mysql is merely a symlink for the general file /lib/init
/upstart-job, which use the same case to catch both reload and force-
reload, using the variable COMMAND to refer to the actual command being
used.

After seeing the issue show up again and again over the last two years,
my suggestion would be to change the oom_adj patch itself to set the
child oom_adj value always to zero, independent of the value that it was
called with.

on the original list of files of the lucid version of the amd64 qemu-kvm

I've just tried current Lucid with qemu-kvm 0.12.3-0ubuntu7and kernel
2.6.32-15-generic #22-Ubuntu and the
lucid-alpha3 desktop amd64 iso for the guest, and the problem is the same.
