So I tried your workaround guys "sudo pm-powersave false" and doesn't
work for me. Still have 70 - 100 % usage cpu .. sometimes more 100+ :D.
So I decide to try install Xubuntu-desktop.. when I switch to xfce
everithings works well with all efects ..compiz etc.. CPU stay between 4
- 8% . Should be
Same issue here. When charger is connected everything works great on
battery totally disaster. OS is unusable. This is really BIG BIG PROBLEM
for laptot users which today are almost everyone. - I have Ubuntu
12.04.4 32bit, Kernel 3.11.0-18-generic, AMD HD 6370M with proprietary
drivers.

This is also occuring with my laptop. Occuring since the new nVIDIA
driver 331.20 on Kernel 3.5.0-45-generic (AMD64) using 12.04.3 LTS
