[Bug 512833] [NEW] package bind9 1:9.6.1.dfsg.P1-3ubuntu0.2 failed to install/upgrade: subprocess new pre-removal script returned error exit status 1

Public bug reported: Binary package hint: bind9 I was installing a few updates from the synaptic package manager. I had unmarked some of the updates like the some audio libraries, and then added some that I thought were important. I guess it failed to check all the dependencies and allowed me to
