? I didn't expect any help. Thanks for mentioning the phpize trick- Maybe I should have posted this on the ubuntu brainstorm site in the first place. It might be too specialized, though. I'm just saying that the mssql / sybase PHP-DB-Extension-Module issue is more complicated than it needs to be.
