I agreed totally with Renan... PHP5-FPM reload is broken meaning that
restart is mandatory ATM (which is not a way to go for shared hosting
environment where configuration should be reloaded without having to do
a full restart)...

cloned by a sysadmin to another directory in the same filesystem.

I've found the issue.
Actually the nut_check_*.m4 are setting *_LDFLAGS instead of *_LIBS, and
due to a toolchain change this become visible (gcc -o testusb testusb.c
-lusb is working but gcc -o testusb -lusb testusb.c is not working
anymore)
Any reason nut is not using PKG_CHECK_MODULE macro?
