That's fine.. it's a transient anomally, I agree.
Afterthought: ..the kernel image package preceding the samba package in
the update queue flagged for a reboot which may or may not have affected
something the samba package was doing or trying to access.

package that did the complaining.
Running P5Q SE, 3GB ram, 4.6GB free disk space, Ubuntu Jaunty with Xbuntu
packages added.
