work, found that it didn't, somehow found this page, installed your PPA
and the updated utilities and it now appears to be working perfectly! I
only wish it would work out of the box in an LTS release.

In some specific context that I currently cannot identify (i.e. happens
everytime on my server but never in VMs), after a reboot, squid-deb-
proxy fails to resolve DNS entries for URL that it needs to service. The
problem seems systematic on the hardware that I have.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better. I'm not sure what is causing this. Your findings are
helpful - I'll leave this bug open to look at it later. I wonder if
recent systemd updates have fixed it though?

There's an existing grub SRU in flight (2.02~beta2-9ubuntu1.2 in Trusty)
