My workaround is applied to the image the instance is spawned with. You
must modify the image, upload that modified image and you will be able
to successfully boot VMs without this issue.
If you do not have access to do that, the only other way I would see
would be to spawn a VM using the

vivid. This should not be considered a full security audit but rather a
quick gauge of maintainability.

This appears to be a problem with oslo.db packaging, where the test*
dependencies are blacklisted as runtime deps, but not removed from the
requirements.txt.
Due to the way heat loads its entry points, this is then listed as a
missing dependency and heat fails to start.

When creating an RBD volume with 'virsh vol-create-as', the newly
created volume gets a stripe unit of 1 byte and a stripe count of
4194304. This results in an RBD volume which is unusably slow (
OK - so I managed to not disable the optimization in January - so the
PPA packages where the same as in the archive.
I've now hit the packaging a bit harder with the noopt flag, and the PPA
has updates which have unoptimized ovs binaries.

It seems to me that the original problem reported was solved by using a
system with more memory, and that an appropriate workaround is to reduce
max_connections on low memory systems. I don't think it's appropriate to
reduce this setting by default, so I think this bug warrants "Won't Fix"

Same result here, though the situation is different, as my physical home-server
has 3.8 gig ram and 4 gig swap.
At the moment of install, at least 3 gig is available for mysql and the whole
swap is still empty.
Still the install won't finish.
