Probably like the rest of you, I stumbled across this bug when I was
looking for a way to remove ntpdate from my system because I'm using
ntp, and I don't want the meta package to go away. Here's a workaround.
1. Install the package equivs. This is a simple tool to create trivial
Debian packages.
Bumping to High as this now affects 258 people.

I had the same problem and found out that there is a different behaviour
of the drbd agent between just stop and start the drbd resource or
rebooting the system. When you stop drbd, the drbd module stay loaded so
when you start drbd again, the validity check of the agent correctly
detects an 8.3 mo

Thanks for reporting this bug. However, it sounds like running anything
remotely heavyweight during the scans would have the same result, so
this is not a bug in qemu. I've marked it as affecting the kernel, as
presumably this is a bug in the io scheduler.
