Not sure what you mean... I basically worked around the issue long
enough to do the upgrade by booting with -vga std, upgraded to the new
upstream kernel, rebooted to make sure the new kernel works with -vga
std, then rebooted without -vga std and was able to reproduce it.

A quick sudo e2fsck -f /dev/scd1 found some corrupt inodes that were

After talking this through with a few folks, it looks like this may be
fixed in some version of juju. Adding "juju-origin: ppa" to

I hit this in a long running environment hosted on an openstack
deployment.
After a certain period of time (not sure how long) all provisioning
agent calls fail with 401 errors:

After reviewing this bug again I've outlined a possible course of
action:
a) Revert global_init patch in all supported distro's
b) Lucid users continue to use the nscd workaround.
c) Precise, Quantal, etc - rebuild gnutls without --with-libgcrypt in order to
make use of nettle.
