I've been doing a little work with Nova and Ceph. As part of this work
I've been testing snapshots. I've discovered that RBDDriver does not
implement create_volume_from_snapshot(). Attempts to create volumes from
snapshots instead fall through to VolumeDriver's LVM-based
imple
While I would tend to agree, I would say that default settings (e.g.
100% memory) is for the default/majority of systems. If memory on the
machine is 100's of GB or even TBs, custom partman recipes should be
used to tune the machine.
While currently not supported, I would like to see magic factors

I am running into the same issue. My MAAS and nodes are in a virtual
environment for testing. Attached is a screenshot of my VM after PXE
booting which shows the same "init: cloud-init-nonet main process (###)
killed by TERM signal" error that Andrew mentioned.

your network is on the internet. in an offline setup I have the repo
mirrored. when the installer does not find archive.ubuntu.com it pro

I have some new information see attachment for logging.
It appears traffic gets routed outside and recieves a invalid responce,
version 1.5.6-2ubuntu2 handles this well, version 1.5.6-2ubuntu2.3 breaks.
If I block traffic to 169.254.169.254 with ip tables facter works again.
