I am seeing what I believe is this bug. I am unable to shutdown without
first executing "sudo service rabbitmq-server stop" to shut down the

I experienced the same bug from a distribution migration from 10.04 to
10.10; also with a fresh install on 10.10 and after "aptitude install
cgroup-lite".
To fix it, i had to manually comment the cgroup mount point in
/etc/fstab .
How can I help to test this package and validate the patch

This is how I would propose to do the fix. It keeps the target names for
kvm-ipxe but modifies the file names in the makefile and target name for
the links. I did it that way because to fix the Xen issue I modified the
xen package to look for the 8086100e.rom.

So, I was trying to resync the device, get everything in a nice state,
give you the requested info. Then move the padlock-sha module back,
reboot, and see things fail.

Yes, I can reproduce it on demand by simply rebooting the machine. Right
now, there's not much of a problem with that, so if you need me to
reboot this machine a few times, fine.

I run into this with Ubuntu lucid frequently when connecting to CentOS
systems. I have no local Kerberos configuration.
A good fix for me would be to have SSH check if kerberos is locally
configured before trying to do Kerberos authentication. However I have
no idea how feasible this approach is.
It doesn't really hang, but recalculates the quota, waiting until this
process is done, but doesn't inform the user about what is going on ...
