am using nfs3.
I am using wireless to share /home directories. If you shutdown within
a gnome session it just hangs. If you log out and then use the shutdown
from the login screen it does shutdown.

After upgrading from Ubuntu 9 to Ubuntu 10.04 LTS - Lucid Lynx
vsftpd server failed to login users.
Problem was solved after libpam-smbpass was ununstalled.
