The underlying problem seems to have been a bug in registering a
component again w/ the same name. This has been resolved. As
mentioned, moving the SC is not a supported operation as there is alot
of dependent state which would need to be moved for it to work
correctly.

I just upgraded to Maverick this morning and this patch has broken pgsql
quite badly. The following code now causes PHP to silently die (with
valid connection details):
$conn = pg_connect($details);
pg_last_error($conn);
This caused my MediaWiki installation to suddenly stop working. I've
rebuilt

I just remembered that the postinst failure I mentioned in my previous
post wasn't triggered by the restart of the slapd daemon, but rather by
another step that the postinst script was attempting to do at that time.

sudo apt-get install slapd ldap-utils
Follow the Lucid Server guide through the section entitled populating
LDAP to the point where data is loaded into ldap for the backend
configuration.
Perform a Lucid->Maverick update:
sudo do-release-u
Please could you try forcing a re-install of the mysql-dfsg-5.1 package
using the following command:
sudo apt-get install --reinstall mysql-server
This should resolve the first installation failure and put the
installation back into a consistent state.

1- I just noticed a delay when connecting my Win XP PC to the samba share.
(maybe , no sure)
