Right, so the message is a benign warning:
pci_add_option_rom: failed to find romfile "pxe-virtio.bin"
If you're not trying to boot your VM over pxe-virtio, then you can
safely ignore the message.
If you want to boot over pxe-virtio, or you want to silence the error message,
simply:
sudo apt
The patch uploaded above is pretty simple and definitely removes the
offending code, in much the same way as it was fixed upstream.
