Matthias already ack'ed it in the past, and it's always good to replace
copies in upstream tarballs with an explicit package. Matthias' original
question "Is there a way to keep the copies in kvm an qemu in sync?"
seems to have a proper answer now, since it's now just one source
package for both.

I was updating this package through update-manager and it hung after
saying that the group vsftpd already existed, so it was doing nothing.
I waited about 10 minutes and nothing further happened, so I had to
ctrl-c to kill it.
ProblemType: Package
wireshark dump of the same hickup as the previous dmesg output.
As I can see it looks like its receiving 0byte packages from the samba
server (Windows XP PC).

Then we start playing music from /mnt/DATA, everything runs fine, only

Is this still an issue? I looked at the templates for fstab generation,
and it wasn't immediately obvious to me that the output would miss a
newline (the templates themselves already have a newline!)

In my case, I simlinked /usr/share to /home/share, I had to add
/sys/devices/system/cpu/ r,

to /etc/apparmor.d/usr.sbin.mysqld

Reopening this bug, as vgabios is currently in Universe.
I'm working on the merge of qemu-kvm-0.12.1.2, from which the vgabios
code has been removed from the release tarball.
We should instead depend on the the vgabios package for installation.

I completely agree. I have occasionally had this problem with Ubuntu
samba and gave up on it, not knowing what combination finally got it
working when it did. I almost gave up on it after the last new install.
I never considered installing Nautilus in a certain order. I just did
