I have a similar situation upon upgrading from 9.04 to 9.10 today. In
my case, I was using -cpu pentium3. -no-kvm is also my workaround. My

The problem here is that the condition check "[ -f
/var/run/samba/winbindd.pid ]" in the /etc/logrotate.d/winbind script is
not wrapped in an "if" block and as such has a non-zero return code if
winbindd is not running. Since it's a valid case that winbind be
installed but the daemon is not runnin

It is worth noting that smbfs already Suggests keyutils. I am not sure
it should be made a Depends, tough. Kerberos authentication is only one
possible mechanism, and already requires setting up Kerberos.
Maybe the requirement for keyutils could be documented in a

I've got similar problems but on Ubuntu 9.10 64bit
First, when I installed this ubuntu, I recovered all /etc/mysql/ files from
9.04 and moved it to my current Ubuntu installation.
Then after a while I installed mysql-server 5.1 which gave my configuration
